We'll Help Educate, Train, and Motivate Your Employees at No Cost

Among any company's greatest challenges is the ability to motivate and retain a talented, committed, and engaged workforce. Not only is Dawn passionate about helping Conestoga Bank rise to the challenge, she is eager to assist bank customers and their employees with the process. "We are a client- and service-focused organization," Dawn says. "We already have the experience, knowledge, team, and programs in place to bring value to our own organization through performance improvement. Why not lend our expertise to any customer who is prepared to implement improvement in his/her company?"
"It may surprise you to learn that Dawn Kim extends that
pledge to all customers and their employees, as well."
At Conestoga Bank, efforts to retain a skilled and loyal workforce include promoting career growth and development through learning experiences that help team members enhance their competencies and skills. "We extend similar opportunities to our customers, who may otherwise not have the resources to provide their employees with focused learning, pertinent to their specific needs."
As vice president of organizational development, Dawn collaborates with an accomplished team to support Conestoga Bank's strategic goal to develop and grow a learning organization. Dawn leads by example. With more than 10 years of experience educating adult learners, Dawn, herself, is a lifelong learner. She has earned a master's degree in safety management and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Workplace Learning at Penn State. Previously, Dawn served as a training specialist for QVC.
At Conestoga Bank, Dawn works closely with the bank's internal departments to create and deliver effective needs-based training solutions. In addition to customizing learning solutions to meet each team member's needs, Dawn:
- Offers one-to-one employee learning consultation
- Researches and suggests external learning solutions
- Helps employees create and develop their own career paths (professional development plans)
- Assists with new hires and on-boarding practices
- Manages the bank's Web-based learning solutions and the organization's educational assistance program (tuition reimbursement).
A key instructor for the Conestoga Education Series, a component of Conestoga Bank's Good Cents Solution, Dawn shares her extensive knowledge and skills with customers and their employees through a variety of training classes. Whether it's brushing up on computer skills, learning to master goal setting, studying communication styles and techniques, business writing, or improving efficiency through time management, you and your employees can benefit from the classes and learning opportunities offered by Conestoga Bank. In addition, Dawn and other members of Conestoga Bank's Human Resources Answer Team are just a mouse click away when it comes to answering customers' questions and sharing resources and information regarding employee relations, development, and training.
